About Me
CURRENT MISSION
practice spanish and other worldly junk in spain and get my exotic on in morocco!
ABOUT ME
I work and live in Vermont, but find myself a transient in the off season. I don't know what I want to do with my life. Right now I just want to find ways to travel the world. I much prefer working while I travel. I think it gives one a better sense of how locals really live and the struggles they face, and it's a nice insight into how people in different cultures connect with each other.
PHILOSOPHY
Why do I live my life?? Ahh that's heavy! I live it to experience as much as possible in the hopes that it will lead to enlightenment?

Music, Movies, and Books
i like books about things/people that don't take themselves too seriously (tom robbins, for example. Hes helped me make some exciting decisions) i like music that moves me, physically or emotionally. Movies are fun. I'm not a giant movie buff, but recently I've been enjoying suspenseful horror movies. Not too much gore, but enough scary to really get you on your toes!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Coolest thing I've ever done: visiting the pyramids in Egypt. We went to giza during the day and they themselves were obviously breathtaking. but they have experienced tourism for probably centuries, so Egyptians in Giza have the tourist traps down to a science. I hope there are more opportunities for them soon. Anyway so we left, back to our awesome rooftop hostel in Cairo. We were friends with the guy who worked at the hostel, and he said his friends had some horses if we wanted to go to the pyramids at night when there wouldn't be anybody. Cool. So he had ro go but we were to meet him at the closest metro at 1am. The time came and I was scared. Putting my life in the hands of a stranger. We decided to leave our other friend in the hostel a note with our passport numbers and what we were doing in ncase we never returned. It seems excessive right now, but at the time I was scared. But so excited. Gotta take risks, right? So we met him and took the metro for an hour out to Giza. People say new York doesn't sleep, but yo Cairo does NOT sleep. So we meet his friend with a stable in the middle of the city and find some horses and hop on. Riding a horse around the pyramids and the sphinx and all the sand and the clear sky made me forget what century I was in, except for the glow of Cairo all around us. We went up to this spot where there were a lot of carpets and Egyptians chilling and drinking tea. What? What a life. At this point it's 3am and horses and hip men and women are just hanging out in the shadows of old drinking tea and kickin it. Yeah that was cool
