To finish university..whilst doing that I want to be travelling as much as possible, I've found when travelling in the past it is best to get to know someone local to find the hidden gems of the place!!!

ABOUT ME

PLEASE NOTE I AM CURRENTLY STUDYING IN ZAGREB,CROATIA UNTIL JULY 2012......
I'm a mature student in my third year of an undergraduate degree and this year I am studying abroad.. The previous 8 years between school and uni were spent traveling and living abroad. Three years on and off in Spain and one year (the best year) in Zagreb, Croatia. My travelling was always done on a budget, sleeping in the car (or the Van) when i upgraded,lol! If only i had known about couchsurfing!!! How different tihngs might have been...
I still spend as much time as possible in Croatia and am enjoying my year abroad in Belgrade and Zagreb now.
I'm not sure what qualities to list on this!! I have numberous, but, as with all souls, I'm not everyones cup of tea..Usually becuase I'm quite outspoken and on occasions (!) my mouth can run away with me.. I get on with everyone I meet (initally), so couchsurfing shouldn't be a problem..I definately lots of friends from all walks of life and that is the essence of this wrold i believe..

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

This year (2012) I will be living in Zagreb, Croatia from next week (17th Feb) until the end of June - I would like to be able to meet up with travellers coming to Zagreb and show them around! I fell in love with the city when I lived there in 2007 and I would like to share the experience with others and share the Zagrebacki love! :)

Good, I have met with a few people now but only had one actual surfing expereience which was nice in Iceland... I hope to do more sometime!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Fell asleep in my vam on a helipad in Pelješać peninsula in Croatia in the pitch black....woke to find I had a 360 degreee view of the surrounding area... breathaking.

Last year I did 4 crazy balkan music festivals in 4 consecutive weekends!And I'm still iving to tell the tales!
