ABOUT ME

I'm happiest when I'm making something.

I just graduated from UNC after a brief jaunt to China, and now I'm so excited to discover The World After College!

I'm working as a barista at the moment. I enjoy doing marketing work for small businesses and nonprofits, so I'm looking for that kind of work. But my semi-new-found life goal is to go to grad school for urban planning. I assure you that the segue from anthro/advertising to urban planning makes perfect logical sense... really.

PHILOSOPHY

I know enough to know that I don't really know anything, but I'm working to remedy that. I think just about everyone has something to teach me.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I lived in a big lovely house last year, and we hosted surfers all the time. I definitely want to keep being a part of this awesome community now.

Интересы

Throwing myself into creative projects. Recent examples include: a giant talking Olmec from Legends of the Hidden Temple, a bunch of infused vodkas (basil rules), a Where the Wild Things Are Halloween costume, teaching myself bread baking (mastery will be mine, oh yes).

Knowing really obscure facts about, like, zebras and refrigerators that I have no reason to know, while at the same time forgetting your name even though I've known you for five years.
