ABOUT ME

I went to high school in the beautiful desert town of Bend, Oregon, and I'm now at the end of my first year on my own.. it's been a wild ride, and an absolutely amazing one!
I'm studying French and Arabic at my university, and I love them both. In the future I want to work overseas, maybe for the U.S. government.

PHILOSOPHY

Put God and people first, live like it's your last day, approach others with an open mind, and never ever say no to homemade brownies.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: I like country, pop, and rock, especially in French and Arabic! Outlandish, Collectif Métissé, Lonestar, Deana Carter, RHCP, Rascal Flatts, and Jean-Jacques Goldman are some of my favorite artists. My favorite song at the moment is Africa by Toto.

Movies: Pretty Woman is my favorite

Books: I love to read! Grapes of Wrath, Harry Potter (yupp), When China Ruled the Seas, Kite Runner, and many others.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Last summer, while our ship was traveling south through the Inside Passage, a school of porpoises started swimming in the wake, jumping in and out of the water. There were mothers and juveniles, and they all had this aura of pure and absolute joy that was completely beautiful. Even the foremen, who never smiled, came out on deck in their pajamas and took photos.
