Why I’m on Couchsurfing

One of the best things about traveling is meeting new people, and couch surfing is a great way to have a small foothold with like-minded people in a large world.
Plus, I've lived in an apartment that hosted others, and it was an exciting, rewarding experience.
I view couch surfing as a way to really connect locally, and for any of us that need to travel on a budget it has the added advantage of being a bit less expensive. There is something a bit glorious/romantic about a giant community of really giving and generous people that you can tap into while you travel the world.

I'd love to share some small food or adventure with you! Either by taking you out for tea/wine/beer/brunch or by cooking something delicious.

I can also be incredibly low maintenance, so if you just need to chuck me onto a couch and say goodnight, that works too. I will probably leave you at least a small gift - either from my home town or recent travels.
