ABOUT ME

I love traveling, and having a hard time staying in one place for too long. I'm spontaneous, enthusiastic, creative, spiritual, cultural, sensitive, cheerfull, and looking for adventure!
People call me a hippie, and I guess you could call me that.
I love nature, and I would love to live somewhere in a little hut on top of a mountain!
I love to talk with people from all over the world and learn about their culture, their religion and their opinions about all cinds of stuff.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I try to host who visit Rotterdam, I'm quit busy, so I might not always have time to show people around, unfortunately, but there are so many cs-ers in Rotterdam, that I think you'll always find someone to hang out with. I also try to give people the info they need for their travels here or other places I have been, so if you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask :) Right now I am travelling and meeting cool couchsurfers from all over the world!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have surfed some couches in Malaysia and Indonesia, Belgium, Turkey, Bulgaria and my experiences have been so amazing! I've met such warm and loving people, who took us in to their house and showed us a great time!thank you guys sooooo much!
Also you can always count on great advice from other travelers or locals. It's awsome!

兴趣

I'm really interested in different cultures and religions. Reading about it, talking about it, it just fascinates me!

I used to work as an entertainer for kids on camping sides (see pictures)
I love to sing dance and do theater! Especially when I can get all dressed up and act really crazy :P

I'm also into spirituality. Reading about all cinds of subjects, meditating, hopefully starting yoga soon, stones, healing energy, and so on!

I've got my Reiki 1 degree and I would love to develope it further. Maybe one day to become a teacher myself :)

Traveling, is my favorite thing to do, and I hope to do a lot more of it in the not to distant future! The feeling of being free an unattached to the material world is the greatest feeling in the world

I really like to listen to music, I can't go a day without music :D And when I feel good I'll sing the whole day, without being able to stop :)

I care a lot about people, animals, nature and the environment. I try to always help other people as much as I can, I donate a lot of stuff to charity and don't like wasting food or other stuff. I can get really mad when people just throw away good food, while there are millions starving. Or when people throw away perfectly good clothes, shoes or furniture when it's so easy to donate them, to people who don't have that luxury!

Music:
I like all sorts of music. There is almost no music I won't listen too. I mainly listen to rock, old pop and electronic music and I really love to sing myself.
But I also like Celtic music, African drums, meditation music, theater music, and so on and so on:P
If you play an instrument, you've won my heart!

Movies:
Again all sort of movies, it depends on my mood. It can switch from romantic comedy, to thriller, to a spiritual movie or an adventure film

Books:
I like a lot of different books.The latest book I've read is Houserules (really great

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I've done so many amazing things during my trip in SEA, things I never thought I would do, but here are some highlights:

-Staying in a monastery in Myanmar
-Waking up before sunrise, hiking up a mountain and watching the sun rise over a volcanic landscape (Bromo Indonesia)
-Hitchhiking in Malaysia
-Falling in love in Thailand

In New Zealand:
I did a two day track, which was amazing!
I'm not used to climbing mountains and walking uphill, since Holland is completely flat, and though it was hard for me, the views were more then worth the effort :)
I hitchhiking around the south island, which was amazing and met some really nice people on the way, whom I will never forget.

I went to Luminate festival where I felt really at
home, and where everybody accepted eachother the way they are.Amazing!

My last trip was a roadtrip with an oldtimer mercedes van. We were planning on driving all the way to India, but it turned out to be too expensive :P So we ended up Taking a flight from Turkey to Nepal, where we tought english at an ashram, and did some travelling. On the way back, we played music in every country to make money for food, which was amazing!

We are all equal! No person is better then another.
Try to think positive. Positive thoughts give positive results. Be kind to who ever you meet. Be respectful to all people and their cultures and religions. If you are visiting a country, you are a guest, so respect the country and it's people. Don't wear your bathing suit in a Muslim country in the middle of the city, for example! I've seen it too much and it's just disrespectful! Think about it! :)
