I’m a hiking mad nature lover who won’t say no to any outdoor sports... I’ve climbed, bouldered, trail ran and hiked my way through every summer and met amazing people on the way. I have a calm side too, which always takes a sketchbook and some watercolours. Whether sitting at a cafe, or on top of a mountain, I always try and make time to sketch what I see to help me remember my adventure when my memories become hazy.
My hard working side is currently doing a BA in London at SOAS university (in languages and literature). I speak French, some German, beginner in Farsi (And English of course).

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

It turns out that often the places you go are special for the people you meet... a hostel room is nice but it can’t tell you how people live in this place. A hotel is not better (and much pricier). A tent is a tortoise home you can carry anywhere, but can’t be placed in a city park. An airport... well you maybe have slept in an airport and you know how that is! So the couch of a kind human is the perfect place to meet a city. The tiny ways that we live differently in different cities, and the huge cultural heritages we have. What is more fascinating than witnessing the myriad of human lives, with a comfortable place to stay that feels a bit like home.

I hiked the Pacific Crest Trail in 2018 (2650 miles from Mexico to Canada in 5 months!)
