I'm a social worker for senior with serious mental illness. I live in a jewish & dominican community wayyyy uptown. I love to dance and have joy in life.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Surfed in India, Turkey, Morocco, Valencia, NOLA and Santa Fe. The experiences range from being groped (not great) to finding a new best friend (awesome). I've met some really interesting people and had some very memorable experiences.

I have not been able to host much as my roommates have changed and their comfort level with strangers has varied.

I think couchsurfing is even more important now in the days of airb&b to show radical kindness and hospitality to people from all backgrounds.
