ABOUT ME

I'm a midwest girl from a city that feels like a small town. I grew up in Lincoln, after moving from Maryland when I was 4 and I went to school here too. I met my husband freshman year of college, he's from a farm in the middle of Nebraska and I have fun dragging him around the globe with me as often as I can.

I work at a non-profit in Lincoln and I love my job. I help children and youth learn about their strengths and develop leadership skills.

I am an extrovert, an ENTJ and my top 5 Gallup Strengths Finder Strengths are Input, Intellection, Learner, Context and Maximizer. If you have no idea what that means maybe you can ask me if you come surf in Lincoln!

PHILOSOPHY

I care more about the people in my life than anything else, and working to end suffering is important to me.
I'm a skeptic and sometimes a doubter, but I believe that Jesus came to bring the Kingdom of Heaven to earth and that someday all will be new again.

I've hosted a few times and surfed in Paris and NYC. I love the experience and idea of couch surfing!

Interests

Seeing as much of the world as I possibly can, coffee shops, reading good books, discovering new places, cooking, entertaining, pretending I know about wine, drawing in the park, swimming in the ocean, napping and laughing a lot.
