ABOUT ME

Ok, here I go ... filling in the white space. I'm in my late 20s and off traveling the world for the first time. I'm currently in Italy and plan to go to Spain, Morocco and France as part of the same journey. Maybe to London as well.

I'm very social; love to meet new people, long dinners, good wine and food. Reading. Did I mention reading? I love books. A lot.

I will spend more time on this later, I promise.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Very new to this and currently traveling. It's a little tough because my apartment back home is very small and I have no couch. However, I do have a cat and need people to housesit from time to time. In fact this summer a friend of a friend was in Toronto from Germany and she ended up watching my place, which worked out very well for both of us.

Long story short, I guess I'll have to play it by ear.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

When I was in Perugia I stayed in a two bedroom flat with the five students who lived there. They were so hospitable and we had so much fun that I ended up staying for four nights. They were from all over the world, so we would spend lots of time discussing each others cultures and cooking our native foods. They were some of the best people I have ever met!

Newish music: Broken Social Scene, Spoon, Stars, Amy Milan, Arcade Fire, Young Galaxy, Twin Shadow, et cetera.

Oldish music: Neil Young, Stevie Nicks, Talking Heads, The Smiths, et. cetera.

Books: I read constantly and have too many favourites to name. I suppose that I mostly read newer fiction, though I feel that I should work my way thought some classics.

Movies: I go to movies on occasion, there are not many of substance that I wolud call my favourites. I am certainly not a movie buff, but I do enjoy getting lost in a fun flick every now and again.
