Overview
About Me
I'm studying philosophy, art, and English literature at St. Mary's College of Maryland. I'm a very open minded person (and am getting the feeling that that's a pretty common trait among couchsurfers. Yay!). While I love books and have learned a lot from them, I have learned wayyy more from people I've met.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
There are lots of reasons to travel (like new sights, food, climates..) but I think the main reason is to meet people who you never would have met if you'd stayed home. And what better way to meet new people and make new friends than by staying in their houses?
Interests
Reading, drawing, hiking and camping, kayaking, rugby, dance parties, talking in coffee shops for hours and hours, learning new things!!!

Music, Movies, and Books
I like classic rock or folk-y music. Or anything really.
Best movie ever: Tampopo. It'll make you want some ramen so badly!
Harold and Maude is also a lovely movie :)
Too many favorite books! Recently re-read On the Road
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I've worked at a summer camp deep in the woods of Virginia for the past two summers and that is an experience more emotionally and physically intense and rewarding than anything else I've done.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach some mad arts and crafts skills, like knitting or crocheting, sewing, weaving, origami, macramé...
We can talk philosophy all day and we'll probably both learn something
Speak Spanish or Bengali with me so I can get better!
Let's swap recipes for yummy meatless food?
