About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To live life with no regrets.

ABOUT ME

I am an English teacher in two primary schools in southern France while I figure out what else I want to do with my life. I have an open mind and I am always looking to learn new things and meet new people. I am afraid of becoming too comfortable with my situation in life. At this point, I don't want to compromise my freedom for stability and I never want to look back on my life and wish I had done something differently.

PHILOSOPHY

Be honest with yourself and with others.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I unfortunately do not have the ability to host, but I participate in the local couchsurfing community and have met some really terrific people through the events.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have couchsurfed in France and the Netherlands and have never had a bad experience. Everyone I ave stayed with has been very welcoming and I love being shown around the city by someone who really knows and loves where they live.

Interests

I love to discuss philosophy and politics with anyone and everyone. I am also an avid reader and I love movies. Learning is a lifelong process and I take every opportunity I can to engage with others so that I can expand my own knowledge of the world, and hopefully theirs as well.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The first time I traveled to Europe was for a family vacation in Ireland. As we were exploring a druid structure, it struck me that this small building was older than my entire country, significantly older. To this day I am constantly in awe at the depth of history that I find in the world that simply does not exist in the United States because the country is so young.

Countries I’ve Visited

Belgium, Greece, Ireland, Italy, Netherlands, Norway, United Kingdom

Countries I’ve Lived In

France, United States
