I'm currently on my gap year and am travelling round europe a bit between work placements in France. I haven't done a lot of couchsurfing but am very independent and confident if a little quiet sometimes. I like to think of myself as a good host and will make the best possible stay for someone, and therefore like it when I have a good experience being a couchsurfer in return (I'll try bring a thank you gift if I find anything nice!).

I love to meet new people and get talking about their interests with them - I'm a good listener. I would prefer to couchsurf any day than to go to a hostel or hotel, as you really don't get the same inside knowledge of the place you're visiting, or the welcoming hosts for that matter!

I'm interested in Art, will always go to a gallery if there is one within walking distance, and in my spare time I like to draw or paint tiny things. I also play the piano, so if anyone would like to try a duet with me let's sound the house out! I love walking although I'm terrible at reading maps and directions, so help is always appreciated.
