I love life and making music. My partner and I travel and play music full-time in our band Violet Bell. We're always happy to host bands and surfers in our home town of Chapel Hill, NC. On the road, we are SO grateful to hosts who make our tours possible!

In Violet Bell, we love to write about our own experiences, our relationship to nature, intergenerational change, and whatever pleases us :) We love to laugh and get outside. Being full-time musicians, we are not scared of a party... but we are also happy to go to bed early! We're sober but we don't mind being around people who are drinking/smoking/etc.

When we're not couchsurfing we're usually camping. We've been everywhere from FL to Canada and are traveling further all the time. Many thanks to all our relations who keep us healthy out there on the road, spreading the joy of music.

We're couchsurfing because it's a better way to get to know a place. Places are all about community. We travel far and wide and it's communities, people, and families that stick with us more than anything. We're grateful for a chance to pay it forward by hosting whenever we can.
