ABOUT ME

One of the greatest joys from my career is that I am always traveling and seeing new places. I am a field biologist studying animals, which means I enjoy exploring, being outside, and am always on the move. My work focuses on canids and birds, and I have been fortunate enough to study animals in places such as Yellowstone National Park, Alaska, Sweden, Austria, and currently Morocco. Previously, I have backpacked across Europe, roadtripped several times across America, and singularly visited places like India, Greece, and Tanzania. Traveling has opened my eyes and mind to the immense amount of knowledge and wisdom you can attain by experiencing things that are unfamiliar. My comfort zone includes exploring the unknown, and helps me find fulfillment the wider I am able to expand my perspective. There are so many worlds encompassed inside the planet we live on, and you'll never understand what you don't know until you put the in the effort to find out.

Currently, I am living in Morocco for 6 months to study free-ranging dogs, and I will return to America (Colorado) next year to begin my masters studying coyotes. I play and sing on the ukulele (therefore love live music), enjoy hiking and running, and am a vegetarian. I mainly solo travel, and I have used Couchsurfing all over the world. It has helped me create a community of friends that I would love to expand.

If you allow me to stay with you, I can guarantee a friendly, chill, easy-conversation atmosphere. I would be happy to experience your home, learn about your life, and see all the things nearby that make your home so great. I will admit, I'm an awful cook, but if you show me your favorite restaurants, then I can promise a free meal or two :) I'm a flexible person who can either explore alone based on suggestions, or would enjoy your company around the area. I am also happy to leave the city and explore nature or surrounding villages.

Even if you are not free during the time I'm visiting, any suggestions or recommendations of things to do around your city would be great.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I traveled to Tanzania in 2012, which was amazing. I stayed with 3 different tribes to learn about their cultures, as well as visited many wilderness areas. I'll be honest, I cried the first time I saw elephants in the wild. The people, the animals, it was a life changing experience.
