Hi!
My name is Lizzy and I live in the Netherlands.
In the east of the Netherlands so nope not in Amsterdam I'm sorry people ;)
I live in a beautiful appartment with my boyfriend and my two cats.

Couple years ago I went on a internship to Barcelona, I lived there for a couple of months and it changed my life. It still feels like my second home.

People describe me as: Happy, honest, friendly and helpful and thats why I work as a nurse :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Couple years ago I went with my best friend Laura on a roadtrip through Europe for three weeks. Thats why I got on couchsurfing. I was terrified and so excited when I had my first coushsurf experience. I loved it ever since!
You get to know people in a couple days: You get to know their life, their town/country and culture. Everybody should try this and there would be alot more love in the world!

Now that I have a more stabile home I would love to be a host myself together with my boyfriend.

Music, Movies, and Books

My favorite music: Rammstein, Within temptation, Nightwish, Evanescence, every dramatic musical song ever and every disney song ever and lots lots more.

Favorite movies: Every disney movie ever, (almost) every horrormovie ever, La vita e bella, Lord of the rings, Hachi a dogs tale, The notebook, Dirty dancing 2, The millenium trilogy and lots more.

Favorite books: Stephen king books, Harry potter books, horror books, twilight books, a thousand splendid suns and lots more.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Travel:
When I was in Zakynthos with my mother I saw the blue sea with the beach from the top of a cliff, thats something I will never forget!

Walking in parc de la ciutadella after a day working in the hospital as an intern and seeing all the people be themself and feeling so free and proud to live there.

Working as a nurse: One of the simple moments that I really love what I'm doing is when I look in the eyes of someone I'm helping at my job or internship and see the happiness in his/her eyes.
