Hello! We're Aussies living in Hamburg. Ben is doing his doctorate in electronic music and Liz is an ESL teacher.

We like to spend time talking about:

beer, wine, schnapps, languages and accents, music, good jokes and bad jokes, cooking, fantasy books, cider, sci-fi, crazy family members, board games, history, pianos, movies, delicious food, travel, mariokart...

When the sun is out, we go outside - BBQs, bike riding, sitting in the park...

When the sun is hiding (most of the time in Hamburg) we play board games & watch movies, go to pubs, restaurants, friend's houses, the cinema, the thermal baths and cafés.

We like to dance in supermarkets, even if the locals look at us a bit funny.

Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

We have both hosted couchsurfers in different houses over the last few years. The best times we had were spent among friends, most of whom would still be flung over the arm of the sofa two months after they intended to leave.

Equally as fun were all the times spent with people who were only around for a short time.

Lots of people who stayed with us would buy a case of beer or cook a meal to say thanks- we think it's a nice way to live!
