ABOUT ME

I enjoy learning about the world around me by meeting new people. I really like studying other cultures and thinking critically about conventions. I have almost unlimited patience for people and always try to look at situations from as many perspectives as possible. I am adaptable but non conforming, sociable but independent, comfortable in silence but eager to listen, spiritual but not religious, logical but emotional and contradictory but consistent.

What I lack in sense of direction I make up for with my sense of adventure which often means taking the least direct route to wherever it is that I'm going. Something I'm coming to think of as a metaphor for my life.

People say that life is hard but I think it's usually just pretty funny :)

I want to learn about you! Your culture, your language, how you think, the ways of your party - I have something to learn from everyone.

I can teach you how to cook delicious vegan food, hula hoop and ice skate (but not all at the same time). I also really enjoy helping people learn English.
