ABOUT ME

I am a filmmaker, philosopher, comedian and adventurer from the North of England, now living and working in London. I studied Philosophy and Physics at Oxford University and now work in Film. I am open, respectful and positive; I enjoy sharing and discovering other people's points of view.

PHILOSOPHY

My favourite part of travelling is meeting people and sharing in their stories. When I go to a new place I always hope to experience it through the eyes of the people who live there, as much as possible. I love to make people laugh and share my perspective too - I think it's amazing that we live in a time where we can reach across the globe so easily, I feel so lucky to have the opportunity to travel the world, participate in new cultures and have colourful adventures.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I move around quite a lot, so whenever I have a place it is always open to anyone who needs it! When travelling, the reason Couchsurfing appeals is it provides an opportunity to get to know the individual on a personal level. I think connecting with the people you stay with in a genuine way is completely invaluable.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have hosted several friends in my London home and want to expand to hosting Couchsurfers! I have not yet stayed with a host abroad.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can talk philosophy, physics, and filmmaking. I would love to show you the films I have made and talk about the ones I am hoping to make.
I can tell you about the unimaginably huge size of the universe, and the miracle of our own consciousness. I also love taking the time to appreciate beauty and hope I can provide a fresh perspective on our extraordinary natural world.
I love to cook (vegetarian) and explore new cuisines; and of course I love to dance!
