CURRENT MISSION
Living the questions...
ABOUT ME
I'm a creative, artsy and quirky soul, who is proud of her tendency to wear her heart on her sleeve, and who actually deep-down cares about people as much as I say I do. I tend to ask a lot of questions, and don't believe that "wandering" means that one is lost. I thrive on deep conversations over really good coffee/tea. (I'm also completely addicted to coffee - but always the organic fair trade kind.) I believe that we all have the power to make the world a better place. I have no self-control around cookie dough.
PHILOSOPHY
I'm here to live in compassion and love towards others and myself. I'm striving to become the most authentic version of myself possible, throwing off the shoes I've picked up over the years that don't actually fit me (I have big feet). I value being in deep and real relationships with people. I believe that being creative and imaginative is an incredibly powerful potential. I resolve to keep singing and finding tremendous beauty in the world, while also not turning away from suffering.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I am still in awe of my CS experience in Scandinavia. Stayed with hosts in Norway, Sweden, and Denmark, and was blown-away by the generosity of the human spirit. :) Thank you!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
The first experience that comes to mind is the time that my sister and I spent living with an indigenous community in the middle of the Amazon Rainforest, in Ecuador. A perfect example of an opportunity seized despite fear and uncertainty, I will never forget the beauty of the rainforest and the people we met, as well as our trip down the river and dive into the river... (despite the "legend" of the anacondas in the area!)
