I love to travel. I'm a curious individual who loves people and places. I've been backpacking around the world since August 2014. The past few months I spent working as a dive master in Malaysia.

Travel is bunk beds and squat toilettes. It's smashed iPhone screens and slow speed internet. Travel is extraordinary conversations with ordinary people. It's temples and mosques compelling enough to walk inside. Fruit being a luxury. It's the realization you may have been born in the wrong country. Travel is a smile that leads to a conversation in broken english. Its the epiphany that people all around the world smile the same way. Traveling is tipping with candy and being embraced for it. Travel is the same t-shirt again tomorrow. Travel is accented sex after cheap wine and too many unfiltered cigarettes. Travel is flowing in the back of the bus with a group of giggly locals with bags of rice at your feet and chickens on your lap. It's a street full of bearded backpackers looking down at maps. Travel is wishing for one more bite of whatever that just was. It's the rediscovery of walking somewhere. Travel is the realization that once you forget your fears about the world, it becomes a magical place. What is travel to you?

Since I'm nomadic and homeless, I currently cannot accept guests, but I welcome you to whatever hostel I may be at!

Music, Movies, and Books

Last movie watched was Boyhood, some favorite directors are Wes Anderson, Christopher Nolan, Joe Wright, Scorcese... favorite movie is probably a tie between Forest Gump and Good Will Hunting. Favorite shows include Breaking Bad and Arrested Development. Last book I read was House in the Sky, one of my favorite authors is David Sedaris. My music selection is very diverse, anything from jazz to techno. Last thing played was Flume and Disclosure.
