About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To live and not have lived in vain

ABOUT ME

I am so white. I have blonde hair and blue eyes and fair skin. I am tall and slender. I burn easily and without warning. I am so white and young. I will have my 22nd birthday in February of this year, 2005. Last night I was quite drunk as it was apparently Fat Tuesday. I was quite drunk after drinking a bottle of wine at dinner and then Bourbon at a bar called Amsterdam. All of my synapses are not firing.

PHILOSOPHY

Live extravagently. I do not mean an excess of things or money, I mean an excess of experience and life. Live expansively. Explode out of all corners or your head and heart. Live an amazing life and share it with others. Believing that what you do and create and think is original and great is true genius. Doing exactly what you always dreamed you would do is also genius. The world encourages children to be whatever they want to be, astronauts or philosophers, and then webs them in as adults: we hardly encourage adult dreams--it is unproductive. But, my God, to have lived and not have lived in vain!

Music, Movies, and Books

Was listening to the White Stripes this morning; yesterday The Decemberists; recently Joanna Newsome has become a favorite. I enjoy the Romantic composers: Debussey, also Chopin.

Am currently reading Byron's poetry, Lolita, The First Circle by Solzenistchen?? Just read Travesties by Tom Stoppard. I subscribe to Harpers.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have seen that light is like water: I am amazed by the high off sounds of men working on new glass buildings that will stand after I am dead. I am amazed by time and my feelings of limitlessness. I do not think I will ever forget anything again

Countries I’ve Visited

Argentina, Bolivia, Chile, Costa Rica, Japan, Mexico, Morocco, Peru
