ABOUT ME

Hello! My name is Lauren, I am from the United States and I am currently studying abroad in Sweden! This has been my first true experience living outside of the US for a substantial amount of time, and I cannot begin to express what an eye opening experience it has been for me. I have met so many people from around the world and absolutely love having conversations with each and everyone one of them, learning about their culture, as well as sharing my own.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I am brand-spanking new to CouchSurfing! I just learned about it, and jumped on the band-wagon the moment I could because I think it is such an amazing program! The whole idea of being able to see a city through a local's eyes is exactly my mission and I cannot wait to have stories to add to this section!

Interests

TRAVEL! I love music, all types of music (although to be honest, synthetic is not my favorite). I love meeting new people and sharing experiences with them, because at the end of the day, it is those memories you remember the most and can also call upon in a duller moment :)

I hope to share and teach about where I come from and my personal experiences during travel. My mind is an open book to share with the world, so if anyone wants to share that kind of mentality, I'm sure there is much we can learn from one another :)
