About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Live in the moment. Be surprised. Get to know whatever I am missing.
ABOUT ME
I am the combination of a French mother and a Dutch father, growing up in Germany at first, getting to live and work in Ireland eventually, one sister a psychologist and the other a lesbian. I have never really learned not to tolerate or look at things from only one angle, so sometimes I have a hard time even getting how people can "not understand" something.
This, coupled with my interest in (simply put) learning things of whichever nature, has made me knowledgeable and accepting, two traits that I like to think of the reasons people like me (among others, of course...).
I can be quite the perfectionist and tend to overanalyze but always with good intentions.
I even seem to have started growing a heart during previous years which makes enduring me that much easier.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I have shared an apartment with a very active couch surfing host. We had couch surfers from Canada, all over the U.S., Brazil, France, Germany, Spain, Austria and Australia in only a few months.
I haven't stayed at anyone's couch, yet, as I haven't had the opportunity.
Interests
I play a bit of piano and violin, I am very good with computers, I like to think of myself as culturally educated but I am learning new things every day and I want to keep it that way.
Considering my coming apprenticeship in information technology, you could absolutely bury me in information and I would still eat it all up.
But being a musician, a glider pilot and a brain in a body, I like talking about most everything there is.

Music, Movies, and Books
My musical interest is as broad as my interest in other things.
I like listening to music that fits my mood, be it
Radiohead, Andrew Bird, dEUS, Daft Punk, Yellowcard or Bach.
I do like movies but I'm even more of a TV Series junkie.
Books have given me the introduction into the English language that has allowed for my "international experience" but I still like reading fantasy or mystery, mostly.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
(I know this says "one thing" but just ignore the one fact you like less!)
Worldly: Got a job at Apple at 19 and was promoted at 20.
Otherworldly: Stayed up all night, watching the Perseid meteor shower.
Teach, Learn, Share
I am quite good at teaching about and fixing computers.
