CURRENT MISSION
To meet interesting, curious people
ABOUT ME
I'm a creative director and indie filmmaker living in Austin, Texas. I've had two previous careers and I think this one will keep me pretty busy for a long time, but I doubt it will be my last. I get alternately obsessed/bored with things regularly, and this outlet lets me explore to my heart's content, but it also requires absolutely every brain cell I have to be good at it. I love being quiet with people just as much as I love talking with them.
PHILOSOPHY
I'm a moderate adventurer. I love not knowing what I'm going to be doing or where I'm going to be next week. I think you should do something that really scares you on a regular basis.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Mostly I host couchsurfers - I do travel a lot but it hasn't worked out for me to surf so far.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I met a couchsurfer at a friend's house and thought it was a wonderful idea! Everyone one I have hosted has been a delight.

Music, Movies, and Books
Man, I hate this question. I'm interested in a different movie, song or book every week, and they're all great (or they suck) for their own special reasons. I'd rather have this discussion in person!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Walking safari through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Get out of your car.
Teach, Learn, Share
I'm an expert on my town, for sure. As a filmmaker I have lots of expertise to share about all aspects of pre, production, and post production, as well as photography. I'm also a mean salsa and swing dancer.
