About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Travel the world & help as many people along the way as possible.
ABOUT ME
I'm a nanny living in San Diego, originally from the central valley of California. I moved here after graduating from California State University, Fresno with my bachelor's degree in mass communication and journalism. I studied abroad in Cork, Ireland during the Spring semester of 2011 and that is where my Couchsurfing journey began. I spent about 6.5 weeks traveling through Europe and had the most amazing experiences of my life. I can't wait to see the rest of the world!
PHILOSOPHY
Pushing my own limits. I've spent a lot of my life playing it safe and living within my comfort zone. Going to Europe was the first step to breaking that pattern and now I want to see what other amazing things I can do and learn by allowing myself to live.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Currently I am unable to host anyone because I am just renting a room in a house, but I hope to host once I get my own place.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I couchsurfed whilst traveling through Europe in 2011, during my first trip to the east coast in February 2013, and again when my best friend and I road tripped across the country in June 2014.

Interests
I love to sing. My friends are always catching me singing away to songs on the radio and I don't even realize it. I also enjoy playing and watching sports. Tennis is my favorite to play, baseball and football are my favorites to watch. Can't wait to live a lifestyle where traveling can be my passion.

Music, Movies, and Books
I love a good old romantic comedy. 10 Things I Hate About You and Garden State are my 2 absolute favorites. I enjoy almost any kind of music, except country.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Bus rides through Ireland left me amazed absolutely every time. Rolling green hills, gorgeous colors, rain spells then sunny skies, rainbows - nothing in the world like it.
Spending a few nights in a castle-turned-hostel in Bacharach, Germany was an unreal experience. The hike up to it was completely ridiculous, but the view from my window - breathtaking. I'd stay there again any time.
Growing up in California, we are bred to know just how lucky we are to live where we do. However, driving across the country was truly a humbling experience to see how incredibly gorgeous much of the country is.
