ABOUT ME

I love to travel - I take any opportunity to visit a new place

I like to meet people and discover them and their cultures.

I was born in Poland - after "short" period of growing, learning,learning, studying and making PhD I have ended up at the Gdansk University of Technology. As a Senior Researcher I conduct a lot of interesting projects in the area of ICT - mainly wireless communication.

Living in Gdansk I have discovered traveling. Partly it was my job - going around the world from one conference to another I have discovered that to be in a new place - to feel it, taste cousines, meet people it the best thing ever. This feeling was even stronger when during our Egypt visit (with my wife Isabel) we discovered that the best day in the whole trip was when we took a cab and traveled all the Luxor are ourselves.

Then we discovered sailing - the best way of traveling. Here everything is to meet people and be in a totally new place each day.

Right now I discovered Coach Surfing - accidentally. Will it work with us - we will see :)

PHILOSOPHY

Life is a journey - do not sit the whole trip in the closet.

I have hosted a guy form Canada and this is my first CS friend - but at that time I did not knew about CS - so I think I fit here :)

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies: by Coen brothers, by Woody Allen, but also some light ones. I love 24 the series :)

Music: actually I discovered smooth jazz and chill out music, but I also like some salsa, shanties, Roxette, Bryan Adams. When we go to a club to danst - I like everything :)

Books: I like books by Philip K. Dick, Sapkowski, Conrad - I love to read books, but I do not have "a favourite one"
