Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
to have as many new adventures as possible and learn more about myself, others, and the world.
ABOUT ME
I am twenty-four years old, from Tennessee, and have just returned to the U.S. after spending several years in Sydney, Australia working on my Masters degree. I am currently actively seeking work in the Boston area!
PHILOSOPHY
I'm not much of a philosopher, but I live life for excitement, growth, and happiness. I love making new friends on my travels and I definitely would not be the person I am today without all of the experiences traveling has given me. Living in a different country has definitely allowed me to see things and people from a different perspectives.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I have not been able to do much with CS yet, but I plan to change that very soon! (Hopefully in the next few weeks!) I definitely believe in the project and think it's a great way to meet new people and explore new places.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I have not couch surfed yet, but I would like it to try it out in a few weeks when I head to Boston for an interview :) I am looking to move to the area and want to meet people who love the city and can share their experiences with me!
Interests
They're pretty broad....love travelling, coffee, wine, chocolate, food of all sorts. I enjoy hiking, other outdoor activities, and go to the gym a few times a week. Love Zumba and getting into Bikram Yoga lately!

Music, Movies, and Books
Love musicals...My favorites are Wicked, Rent, Phantom of the Opera, and Chicago. I like a variety of other music. James Blunt is my favorite artist, and Michael Buble comes in a close second. I like a variety of movies as well. Old movies, new movies, comedy, action, romance, all of it! I like to read historical fiction novels when I have the time, and Phillipa Gregory is my favorite author.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
In Australia, I held a baby dingo. One of the single most exciting moments of my life! Zorbing in New Zealand was probably one of the coolest things I've ever done as well. More recently, I got to watch a live rugby game between the All Blacks and Wallabies in the ANZ stadium, and also witnessed firsthand the relighting of the torch at the celebration commemorating the Sydney 2000 Olympics. In September I went to Uluru, Alice Springs, Darwin, and Litchfield National Park in Australia. I loved it!
Teach, Learn, Share
I make a pretty mean zuppa toscana soup! Olive Garden style- but so much better. I also love to explore, even when I don't really know where I'm going. If you want some company exploring a city, I'm there!
