About Me
CURRENT MISSION
yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mistery, but today... today is a gift!
Also I am in a "small" quest to promote Scientific Literacy
ABOUT ME
Crazy, Serious, impulsive, shy, adventurous, strangely friendly, daredevil, movie-freak, computer-geek, science-geek, technology-geek, and the opposite of all above... just need to meet me.
For me, debate about any topic is a SPORT! The more controversial, the better. I do enjoy getting into debates and interesing discussions.
I´m EXTREMLY addicted to Salmiak/Saltlakrids/Salmiakki!
PHILOSOPHY
-If you have something to show off, SHOW IT OFF! because in the future you may not have it anymore!
- We are not getting any younger! so hurry up and do stuff that you won´t do when you get old
-Misinformation is the flag of ignorance!
-When something is too good to be truth, be skeptic about it; and when something is too bad to be truth, be skeptic as well.
-Question everything! when in doubt, look for valid (scientific) information.
-Try to distance yourself from your own BIAS, if you are pro-something, look for relevant information contradicting your beliefs
If by any chance you bring Lakrids (salmiak) candy with you, you will make the only mexican than enjoy this candy super happy
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Mostly hosting and helping people when visiting my city.
If I have the time, I do enjoy taking couchsurfers on tour to explore my city and surroundings.
The CSurfing groups in my city are very active, so I do join CS group meetings and gatherings.
When I travel, I look for CS events or other travelers to get intoadventures
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I have met some great (and also not so great, but still nice) people through it.
Previously I was also using another webpage called Hospitality-club and both are really helpful to get to know locals.
I use it a lot, more to meet people when travelling than to ask for a couch.
By meeting people form around the world, i can travel through their storys and culture.
I love tho share ideas, interest, hobbies and bizarre/funny quests that have made our jurneys so special :)
Interests
Science, nature, tennis, technology, dance (Salsa and bachata), music (mostly metal, but open to everything), travel, drawing, be creative, tattoos, movies, geek-stuff, steam-punk, papercraft, interior design, computers and so on... everything is interesting depending the point of view!
I love to climb statues and take funny pictures
I think it is just boring to take a picture by standing still, you always have to make it memorable
As a scientist, I´m a full time skeptic!
I´m in a "small" quest to promote Scientific literacy.
The natural world it is much more wonderful, impressive and magical than the fantasy, thats why I´m a biologyst and a scientist.

Always have some Soybean milk on the fridge!!! for lactose intolerants, vegans, hippies, New Agers or picky people.
I can teach you how to explore the wonders of science and how this can improve your daily life, save you time, impress your friends.
I also can teach you a few steps of salsa and many steps of bachata (or most of Latin dances).
If we go hiking or to the botanical garden, you can exploit the fact that I´m a BIOLOGIST and I can tell you interesting facts and stories about plants, animals and my specialty, fungi (mushrooms).
