ABOUT ME

I love being active. My favorite ways of doing this are running and traveling. You can guaruntee that both of these will show you new scenery and bring you to a more peaceful state of mind. I can usually be found with my most sacred companion, Adam, who has been traveling (and dreaming about traveling when we are not) the world with me for the past 8 years.

I have spent the last 3 years after graduating from college as a research assistant in a lab at a hospital. The research was geared toward reducing anxiety for parents and children within a surgery setting. My ultimate goal though, is to return to school and become a psychologist or social worker so that I can integrate research into clinical work as a profession.

I'm a pretty low-key person, not really for the parties, but I do love to meet different people and hear their stories of ridiculous life experiences.

PHILOSOPHY

I feel like I still have a lot of living to do before I develop one of these. But, I guess my young and naive perspective is one of loving those who are close, being open to new perspectives, and offering what you can to the world while gently traveling through it.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am willing to host couchsurfers in my area, and when possible surf some couches if I ever get time away from school.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have stayed with some honest, open and very giving people while traveling through Europe last year. It made the trip far more exciting than if I only stayed in hostels. I appreciate all that my hosts shared with me and I hope I can do the same for fellow travelers.

兴趣

I love being outside. I love the waves of the ocean, wooded hiking trails, and quiet lakes. I also love being in the middle of a busy foreign city and trying to figure out where my next destination might be.
