Overview
About Me
I'm relatively outgoing, after the first awkward 5 minutes. I love to eat, read, chat and explore! I studied classical philology and various depressing Russian things at Beloit College in Wisconsin. I've been bopping from place to place since I graduated (Taipei, Idaho and Nashville, TN) with my lovely husband, Rob.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
My friend and I couchsurfed together for the first time about two years ago, and it was amazing. We had such a fun time and met all sorts of people. We also went to a couchsurfer potluck on Christmas eve, and met people from all over the world as well as ate soooo soo many delicious foods. I can definitely say couchsurfing brings out a whole new world of incredible opportunities.
Interests
traveling (obviously), reading, going on walks, people watching, studying the beginner's level of languages (and sometimes delving deeper if I'm feeling extra curious), planes, busses, trains (basically all things where I can read and relax for hours), camping, wine and beer, cheese, raspberries, meeting new people, music, having bizarre conversations with strangers, animals, random cultural practices (such as grabbing one's balls whenever a black cat crosses one's path) and, most importantly, eating.
