I am a language teacher from Canada living in Russia. I live with my friend and dog in a comfortable flat in the Kukkovka district of Petrozavodsk. Neither friend, nor dog bite :-) I travel a lot for pleasure and for business and I like to meet up with local people as much as I can.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Couchsurfing is a great way to meet new people, to see a place from a new perspective and, of course, to save a few pennies. I hope most of all to share my perspective with the people I meet; to be a good ambassador for my communities, and to create a little bit more good in the world.

Interests

I like reading, watching films, dance and theatre. Most of all I like to spend time with my friends in the great outdoors. Swimming, canoeing, kayaking, camping - if it involves water and nature, I like it!
