I am new to this couch surfing experience, and hope to meet some great people, and learn some tips for traveling places. I would consider myself to be more adventurous than the people that I regularly hang out with, and need to learn how to better have my own adventures if nobody wants to join me.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Only thing coming to mind right now - One night during my senior year of college, I was heading down to Wisconsin on some 2 lane highway with my roommate (he was driving) and a freshman we didn't really know. My roommate asks me to peel an orange for him that he happened to have with him. I told him that I didn't want to get my hands messy for the whole trip, but I would steer from the passenger seat. He agreed and peeled his orange. He took his sweet time peeling that orange, and didn't bother to look at the road, he just left his cruise control on. Eventually we come up on a car going about 15mph slower than us, and I warn him to slow down. He just looks up, and says "nah, just pass him!" and throws on his left blinker and goes back to peeling his orange.
