ABOUT ME
I am Lloyd.
I live in perth, close to finishing a commerce degree. Likely going to be employed as a financial services professional, but harbour a desire to be an entrepreneur!!
I am nearly always happy! Be it playing sports, socialising, gaming or even occasionally studying!
PHILOSOPHY
Whats the worst that could happen?
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Relatively new to CS, planning to do a bit of surfing first and then once I get my own pad, will start hosting!
Interests
Obscure sports (Ultimate Frisbee is the current favourite!), Lame jokes and Spontaneous singing are some of the most defining things in my life!
I am also a bit of a knowledge junkie, always seeking new insights, always trying to improve myself and extremely curious!
Generally anything clever, funny or fun will captivate me!
- arts
- singing
- surfing
- sports
- entrepreneurship
Music, Movies, and Books
Books; mostly sci-fi/fantasy but also self education kind of stuff. (Wheel of time, game of thrones, Harry Potter, Night Angel Triliogy, The buccanear scholar, the 360 degree leader, Maverick....)
Movies; anything clever, intelligent but also reasonably paced! (V for Vendetta, Thank you for Smoking, Getting Square)
Music; I have very broad taste. Will listen to Classical music, Rap music and most things inbetween!
(Tchaikovskey, Elton John, Billy Joel and Bob Segar would be some of my favourites!)
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Watching an eagle in the Masai Mara catch its prey in mid air!!
And very similar, I have seen what appeared to be a dive bombing school for eagles (approx 15 of them) on the edge of lake victoria.
Teach, Learn, Share
I have a rather large amount of knowledge (some abstract, some not), all you need to do is enquire.
Also would love to share the art of Spontaneous singing!
