About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To leave the world a healthier place.

ABOUT ME

Just moved to Albany WA and want to help any Ukrainian refugees in need of a place to stay. I love travelling and have been to every continent including Antarctica. My heart lies in Northern and Western Europe, and I think one day I'll live there, but Melbourne is a great city. Melbourne, Berlin, Montreal and Copenhagen are my favourite cities. Right now working part time and travelling quite a bit. I live with some great friends. Looking forward to meeting some new ones!

PHILOSOPHY

"Never refuse an invitation, never resist the unfamiliar, never fail to be polite and never outstay your welcome"

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Would love to meet new people while I'm traveling to share stories and adventures and maybe practice German!

Interests

I like to read, listen to music, sit around talking about the state of the world. I'm really interested in politics, history and learning about people and cultures.

Music, Movies, and Books

My favourite book is Animal Farm but really I love all of Orwell's books and also Alan Hollinghurst. I listen to lots of music, but i would say mainly indie rock like Postal Service, Death Cab for Cutie, Youth Group, Athlete, Sia, Alt-J, Angus & Julia Stone, London Grammar, Florence & The Machine... Hard to say my favourite movie. I think for raw emotion probably The Remains of the Day or The English Patient, for adventure the Lord of the Rings trilogy and for quirky fun The Grand Budapest Hotel.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I think the most enchanting experiences have been in ancient ruins, in a quiet corner just contemplating what life must have been like for the people who lived there. I would nominate Maccu Piccu and Angkor Wat as two of those incredible places...

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm good at cooking and know a lot about world affairs...

What I Can Share with Hosts
