I study Social Anthropology in Barcelona, although I'm from the gorgeous island of Mallorca. I have absolutely no idea about how my future is going to be. I'd like to think I'm a frendly, easy-going calm person, always glad to meet new people and being of any use. My friends usually complain on how hard it is to make me feel angry, but I don't consider it to be lack of character - rather the opposite.
I like paradoxes, puns and creating stupid jokes. So far (January 2015) I've created 6. So be ready to practice your most belivable pitty-laugh.

I have some exprience hosting some people in a Couchsurfing-like informal (?) invitations. My deepest experience with CS, however, has been being a guest in different houses in my adventures through Ireland and Scotland.

I enjoy learning about other cultures and realities, and if that can't be done by meeting new people, then literature and cinema are good ways to contact those other worlds. Travelling, of course, is the best way to accomplish that, and I do it every time my pocket or my thumb allows me to.

Big fan of Kubrick's movies, specially Barry Lyndon, and everything to do with English humour and/or Monty Python or Rowan Atkinson.

I specially like classic rock. I'm quite skeptical and insecure about idols and heroes, so I tend to like bands and artists that are already dead as they can't disappoint me. Or at least, if they did it was time ago, so I can blame it on the LSD. The Beatles and Hendrix among my favourites, followed by the Stones, Who, Kinks, Led Zeppelin, Deep Purple, Pink Floyd, Doors, Cream, and a long, bluesy etcetera.
I let myself to be seduced by Nina Simone, Etta James or Billie Holiday now and then.

If I had to choose a book it would be, perhaps, Thomas Mann's The Magic Mountain. It's the only one that pops to my mind when using that unfair term "favourite".
