ABOUT ME

I love travelling and languages and everything that comes along with new cultures and sights. To discover new places, landscapes, flavors, cultures, people is a very important part of my life.

The smile is my international language to communicate when I don't know the words, it's my tool to cross "cultural" borders.

Being nomad, I have lived.
Life is an amazing gift, but a short one, so I try to be as happy as possible, as curious as possible, learning every day from people I meet on my way. Every new friend is a treasure.

Guys, I'm quite new at this ... but I hope to share good experiences with other members round the world.

Interests

I like meeting foreigners travelers in my city to share a drink, a nice talk and to show them my beautiful city through my eyes and maybe discover hidden shades through theirs eyes too. I love outdoor activities -diving, trekking, hiking, ..., but also photography, cinema, arts, cooking... and I have a confession to make: cheese+red wine are my weakness along with a 'tea-chat' in a cozy place and a book+ a cup of tea sitting next to a window in a rainy day.

I've been hooked on some series too: Lost, Damages, The Good Wife, Downton Abbey, Breaking Bad, True Blood, The Walking Dead, Game of Thrones (I'm a Tyrion's super fan :D )
I'm listening now City and Colour, Florence+The Machine, Missy Higgins, Marlango, Mafalda Arnauth (fado), Lady Antebellum, Coldplay, Mumford&Sons, Counting Crows, Sarah Blasko ... I'm very heterodox and I listen to very different kind of music, but I dislike salsa and bachata, heavy metal and electric music ... nobody is perfect, right?
I always have a book by Ryszard Kapuscinski on my table. I think I have already read Ebony five times! Et j'adore le sens de l'humour d'Amélie Nothomb! Stupeur et tremblements ... ohh, génial!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've spent one amazing year travelling around the world as a solo traveller: discovering new countries, landscapes, meeting new people. One year full of experiences, smiles, new friends from many different parts of the world, one year really "living" and enjoying life. Perhaps the happier year in my life so far ... but I like to think that great things are awaiting for me just around the next corner!

The more friends I have in my life, the more experiences I can share with them; the more nice and interesting people I can cross in my way, the more happy and rich person I am.
