ABOUT ME

Some of my friends say it's impossible to describe me. Maybe that's because one day I'm thoughtful and sensitive and the next day I'm hyper-motivated and in a crazy mood.. I'm a person who gets along with almost all kinds of person and I'm always open for new experiences. It's hard to annoy me (I mean really, not for fun =)), but I'm allergic against lies. I get lost easily and it's useless to ask me anything that has to do with maps, but in the end i always end up where i wanted to go (or at least somehwere i want to stay =))I'm trying to look for the small things that make every moment special. I love listening to peoples' stories. I don't know what else to write right now, but if you have any questions,I'll be happy to answer them =)

PHILOSOPHY

Oh...hard to sum up in just one or two sentences. I think we can make the world a better place by not just focusing on ourselves but seeing whats around us and learning from each other. And that it's good to do what we really feel like doing and not what others expect from us (as long as it doesn't hurt others) Appreciate what we have instead of heading for goals that are impossible to achieve.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I want to use couch surfing to get to know people and make friends all over the world. I'm sure I will learn a lot from the people I meet (not only language skills) and I hope to be able to give them back the same. At the moment I can't host people because I still live with my parents, but if you're around here and already have found a place to stay we can meet up anyway =)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My first time couchsurfing was in Berlin, March 2012- it certainly won't be the last time !

I went to the Spring Gathering in Lille and it was one of the best weeks of my life - I will attend more meetings in the future for sure.

Interests

Travelling, other languages and cultures (not just because it fits on this site), (Almost) all kinds of music (I play some piano, trumpet and xaphoon, I'd love to learn how to play guitar. Anyone teach me ? =)), juggling, cooking....lots of things more.

Music, Movies, and Books

The most beautiful music is spontaneous, like at a campfire. But I like many kinds of music. At home I mostly listen to rock, medieval-style songs, songwriters. But I also love salsa music for example =)

My favourite book ever is Momo. I don't have a favorite author, I just look for books that sound interesting and start reading =) I'm not the biggest fan of SciFi and crime stories though.

Another really inspiring book is "Das Café am Rande der Welt" (The Cafe at the end of the world, I dont know if thats the real English title). Its basically about doing what you really want to do and one of the best things i've ever read.

Movies...I like "Die fabelhafte Welt der Amélie" (don't know the English title). I love how it focuses on all the small details that most people wouldnt even notice =) I only know a few movies, i dont even know why but somehow i dont watch many.

Hm...I could teach you some German =) Or how to play the Xaphoon. Or how to juggle (but just the basics. maybe someone can teach me some tricks =))
