ABOUT ME
the ideal answer to fill this box is: i'm an outgoing cheerful friendly girl. but that would be lying cos i often found myself in a socially-awkward situation.
well, let's just put it this way: i like to have fun and to experience wicked adventures. but i can be very silent sometimes that people will see me as distant. and the fact that i'm not good at small-talks doesn't help either. but no worries, it's just that me taking time to warm-up. once i'm in tune with you, you'll get to see the chatty side of me.
i'm not an early bird (i don't mind this. i don't like worms anyway) and more of a night-owl. that's why i quit my 9-to-5 job and now is doing freelance writing for a living. the best part of this: i can take vacations no matter how long without having to worry about annual leaves and boss' approval! cheers to that!
PHILOSOPHY
no regrets, just lessons learned.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
i've traveled and spent time together with some CSers. we were complete strangers at first, but friends later.
i don't surf that much, but so far i really enjoyed it, cos i can experience what the locals really do in their daily life (something that's hard to find when you stay in a hotel).
when i'm in new town, sometimes i send out invitations to hold some small CSers gathering. So far, this kind of act leads me to know interesting and nice new friends :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
i've tossed coins into trevi fountain, got some fishy flirts from a seller in pisa tower area, fed the birds at piazza san marco, entered st. peter's basilica in awe, seen paris from the eiffel tower, taken a cruise through the seine river, saw the boy pee in belgium, ate the most delicious indonesian food in amsterdam, dressed like a local in volendam, tossed the snow to strangers' butt in switzerland, watched F3 race in beijing, visited the small version of the world in shenzhen, got lost in the midst of hong kong people crossing the street, haggled the price furiosly in bangkok, went through the fake version of venice in macau, almost got ran over by a drunk man in seoul, knew singapore like it's the back of my hand, had a hard time to choose of what to eat in bukit bintang and petaling, climbed hundred steps until my feet falls off at batu cave, swam-ate-sleep-fly merrily in the beaches of bali then seen the sun set beautifully, found a hidden paradise in karimunjawa, stood in the middle of the sea in kepulauan seribu, went through the prettiest nature-made stone-wall in pulau selayar, ate the spiciest bakso kotak in makassar, tried to touch the stupa in borobudur... yet, the thirst is still there. there's still a lot to be discovered, baby!
Teach, Learn, Share
how about i teach you "jakarta's public transport 101"? the tuk-tuk local version called bajaj, god-only-know-where-the-hell-did-the-driver-learn-to-drive kopaja, jampacked transjakarta, the long-lost blue-print of monorail, to the wind that softly caressing your hair when driving ojeg. yeah, i'll teach you that.
