I'm a 32 year old non-binary, nerdy, vegan, music student, living in Berlin since 7 years. I play in bands and random projects. I like making and exploring sounds. I work at my university and I teach classical guitar.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Because I don't know how to travel. I think it's nice having a walk and seeing a new place, but without any social connection it doesn't make too much sense to me. I can do it for a bit, but it's not interesting enough when I don't have someone to share the experience with, to discuss, to learn from.

Interests

I love music! I play various instruments and I'm in a band. I study Music education and it fills most of my time.
I'm vegan and I really like cooking :)
I volunteer as a guide in a lgbtq youth club in Tel Aviv.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like any music that makes me feel something - whether it's a trashy karaoke song (I love karaoke! really miss it during the pandemic), some complex classical piece, some weird spacey sounds or polyrhythmic stuff, if it's interesting, sad, beautiful, boring... it doesn't matter. I can find something good about almost any music :)

I don't have many favorite movies - it's something you watch once and enjoy, but I don't get attached because after an hour or two they're over. But series.... haha. I really get attached to characters sometimes! Maybe I shouldn't start. But I love cartoons, dramas, anime, comedy... especially if it has queer characters.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

After living with my parents in Israel for 25 years - spontaneously moved to Germany on my own. An extreme, unplanned and sudden change that actually worked out pretty well - it's been 7 years and I don't regret anything :D
And loads of amazing things on the way... I can tell you when we meet :)

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach any language I know, and I really like making silly puns. I love etymology and learning about languages!
Any music related stuff - I can teach you how to play instruments or explain you music theory stuff.
I have a few funny body features/talents I can try to teach you, like... eye brow waves and throat whistling. :P
I really like to be creative together - open for any ideas :)
