ABOUT ME

A very curious person who likes a lot to know other cultures and foreign people. A person who really likes to travel and make foreign networking. A person who likes to read, play musical instruments, search for world music, and very involved with social business. Nowadays I work with wild edible plants, native plants and landscaping. I am really into agroecology and food politics affairs. Working for a better world with less poison in our food, with more biodiversity and respect to the nature.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Very nice experience I had in Uruguay recently by couchsurfing, with a nice person who showed me interesting things about the country. I also had CS experience in Medellin, Colombia.

I am on Couchsurfing to meet new people around the world, share culture, to share special knowledge about food culture and about other regional/traditional stuff.

Interests

Main interest in culture of Middle East, North of Africa and Asia in general. I also love Latin America, mainly because I'm latin, and I love the culture and people of my continent.
Riding bike is my passion, I ride bike everyday and it's the opportunity I have to live the city with more happiness.
I'm also a plant lover, gardener, horticultor...passionate about learning and teaching, sharing information and culture.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The moment when I was walking in Istanbul for the first time, I became very thrilled with the different atmosphere of the city and its people praying in the streets with the voice of the muezzin in the mosque ringing through the city, it was really awesome!

Teach, Learn, Share

I am graduated at International Economic Relationships and currently studying Plant Landscaping.
I also study a lot about horticulture, food crops, edible wild plants, native plants, medicinal plants and ecology, because I work in my project of popularizing the traditional knowledge about plants to urban people, in order to raise awareness about biodiversity and environment preservation.
I also love to learn new languages, but nowadays not studying a lot. We can talk in english, spanish, portuguese, and sometimes in French.

What I Can Share with Hosts

We can have good conversations about various issues, as you can see in my profile.
I can show you some good places in my beautiful city, that is always showing me incredible places and people.
Unfortunately, for the moment, I can't host, but I can meet. In a brief future (I hope so) I want to host more often.
