ABOUT ME

I am a cheerful person, I really like people.

PHILOSOPHY

I am a little reluctant to state the core of my personal philosophy, I will however write some thoughts, that are not the core,but that I believe and that help me conduct my life:
1. I think the one of the biggest impediments to living our life is fear. So I would strive for living a life without any kind o fears (much easier said than done).
2. There are incredibly many good people in the world and I trust that when you ask courageously, people will care and people will help.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I just entered the community, I will certainly want to meet people and show them around the city I will be living in(wich hopefully will be Antwerp, in Belgium, starting this fall).Once I will dive more into the site, I will see what more I would like to do.

I was hosted by a wonderful family near Hamburg once, and I had friends stay over at my house at times...

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: I listen to a lot of bands, I like to see what other people like and listen to it but my real love is Classical, for example Brahms symphony no.1,Mahler 3rd ant 10th, Prokofiev violin concerto and many more...
I also listen to a lot of Romanian and Bulgarian folk music these days, I also like latino and salsa music and youtube singers :)
Books: Whatever I read seems like it's the best book on earth in that period,now it's Dostoievski's Murder and Punishment; I like to read Kafka, more because of the srtyle than the content and I like the Romanian Marin Preda.
Movies: Baraka

I can't think of something at this very moment, I will leave this one for later.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can play music with you, and I know a couple of languages I would be happy to practice with anybody who wants to.
I would like to learn Dutch because I want to study in Belgium.
I like to hang around people who now something about science, because I find it interested but I am not at all educated in this field.
