ABOUT ME :

I'm a very calm person who enjoys being with people, going out sharing experiences with them as well as having time for myself and relaxing at home.

Above all, I'm a dreamer (a bit too much according to my folks). And that's precisely why I decided to take a gap year 2 years ago. I always travelled in Europe since I was a kid and I really wanted to discover more far away places, exotic cultures, realize some of the things I wrote on my to-do list before I die and simply experience something whole new, something completely awsome.

Every time I travel, I'm ready to enjoy every single minute, just as Bilbo would say in the Lord of the Rings, running and yelling : "I'm going on an adventure!" (You can see my references ;)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I first joined the couchsurfing community in 2013 by curiosity. Many people around me told me they had great experiences though it.

I had the opportunity to have several couchsurfing experiences. Besides meeting new people of course, I'm looking for an authentic and different way to travel. And couchsurfing sounds perfect for that since we can stay with locals in their homes, exchange tips about our culture, region, travels etc and maybe thereafter keep in touch! Yes, I always wanted to have friends all around the world (sounds soooo cool right?)

If I have space in my apartment, you'll be more than welcome to discover the beauty and charm of my wonderful region ; Alsace =) Be sure I"ll help you in every way that I can!

Interests

I'm a very curious person, that's why I'm interested in a lot of things.

I love sports, I think I initiated myself into a lot of sports : archery, fencing, canoe-kayak, dances (bellydance, hip-hop and ballroom dances)...
I like to ski during winter (I have the chance to have close moutains) but above all I'm a horse addict ! I'm doing horse-riding since I'm 4 years old

My second passion is music. I play cello (studied in a conservatory, played in many orchestras, in a trio etc) the most beautiful instrument in the world ^^

I also took drawing and painting lessons for years. I love everything that can be related to arts anyway

But I also love history, I especially read a lot about french history (kings and queens, anecdotes...) but I'm interested in it in general, no matter the country

I don't know what else to say, I never refuse an opportunity to learn something new!

Music, Movies, and Books

Music : I listen to a lot of classical music; it makes me truly feel a lot of emotions and it's so relaxing.
But I also listen to pretty much every kind of music : rock, soul, pop, epic music, movies soundtracks, even bollywood or arabic music...everything ! I like old french songs and singers such as Brel

Movies : Moulin Rouge, the Horse Whisperer, The Pianist, Amadeus, Black Swan, Lord of the Rings (you may have noticed ;) and also musicals

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you you a bit of french, basic skills of cello, how to ride horses (but I don't have a horse so you need to find one ^^). We can sing, dance, go to the moon.... maye try some good french dishes mmmm
