ABOUT ME

we really like to talk with other people and also to listen to them which is a good way of learning.
we like to be outdoor doing sports or just reading under the sun with a cup of tea (or a beer for JC...)
we also like cooking and if you come at home we would be glad to cook for you.
HELENE : I'm a primary teacher and I love my job since children make me laugh (even if sometimes I feel like throttling them!). Thanks to them, each day is different, no routine!
JEAN-CHRISTOPHE : is a musician (drums, bass) and art therapist.
Finally, DIY! we are involved in a local group in which we buy food to local farmers. We try to avoid hypermarkets as often as possible.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We hosted only 3 times: we live in the countryside and not much requests...
For us, to be part of the couchsurfing community is a real involvement, it is a way of thinking and living. We are living in an individualistic world and thanks to couchsurfing, we can refuse this world and build something else : a world in which we share what we have with ohters, a world in which we are not afraid of the unknown and this is the world we believe in. That's why we participate in CS.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

the first couchsurfing experience: in Istanbul.
It was such a great experience that we will remember it for the rest of our life.
then in Stockholm, in the US, in France....
It changed our way of travelling : before CS, we were tourists, now, we travel and meet people !

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

one amazing thing we've seen: Cappadocia in Turkey, the grand canyon, yosemete, yellow stone, a moose, the Atlantic road in Norway...
600km in hitch-hiking through the desert in the US...
