We are a family with 3 kids (17 15 and 10 years old). We think it's nice to have people around, especially foreigners with kids !
We live 30mn from Paris by suburb train.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

We visited Montparnasse tower in Paris (highest tower in Paris) with our german hosts. We first picked up our son back from a summer camp at the train station near by, before climbing the tower. We thought the travel bag would be searched, but not at all. My son, of course, forgot it on the top of the tower. We tought, the security would have exploded all his dirty socks. NOT AT ALL ! We found it just were we left it. It's nice (and a little worying) to see that french security in towers is really laid back !
