ABOUT ME

I have always been used to mixed cultures as I am both French and Spanish and travelled to many places. That's why I have always felt like discovering new places and people, because every trip is a new personal experience that you can share with people you meet.

Back to Paris after a one-year life in Hong Kong and two long stays in China, I am now settling down in Barcelona where I have always passed by to visit my family but this time it´s a completely different approach of the city...

PHILOSOPHY

I need to do what I feel like doing, it's the only way to know if it's the right decision. But sometimes many ideas come out at the same time so easy to get confused.. I'm just human I guess.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I met a couchsurfer-addict and the concept sounded so interesting that I just joined.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I'm starting to get a few ones! in Guanzhou-China, where the couchsurfers showed me nice places and friends; couchsurfers from HK who took me to a nice restaurant and HK desserts place, a really nice week-end trip in Lyon, also got into the Parisian CS's meeting experience :)

Interests

Walking,reading,cinema, music,eating, cooking, B & W photography, swimming,meet friends,biking, travelling- and sometimes just doing nothing- it seems like we always need to have interests all the time..

Music, Movies, and Books

Music/ I like almost everything: jazz, salsa,hip hop, drum &bass,tribal, electro,classical.. but I hate comercial R&B and any comercial summer songs though
Movies/ I love Emir Kusturica (black Cat White;Arizona Dream;Underground...)... Big Lebowsky, Iñarritu-(Amores Perros, 21 Grams)
Books/ Russian litterature:DOstoievski, Tolstoi; Brasilian writer Jorge Amado;Amin Maloof and I recenctly discovered polish writer Kapuczinsky!("viaje con heródoto, ebano, el inmperio....) I think that any CS can identify himself with that unique reporter.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

So many amazing landscapes or people around the world,
I just can't remember one right now, many pictures of natural landscapes, traditional scenes and peoples' gathering are coming to my mind at the same time.
Maybe Brasil. What really stroke me is the 2 faces this country holds: extreme poverty- I saw kids taking drugs on the streets in the morning- but so much life everywhere: music,smiles, beautiful and friendly people, seduction, hope... Philippines is an amazing place too, for scuba diving...

Teach, Learn, Share

I still feel like I've got everything to learn.I've studied but it seems like not much si left in my brains.
I can surely discuss about the cultures I know: French, Spanish, Chinese. I have done some kind of things since I was a child- piano,danse, different activities..-, but no specific passion till now.

I'd love to know more about B&W photography. I am developping myself photos but need sooo much time and the proper place for that...
