About Me

Hello I am Leo!

I am leo I have been in living in Tokyo for 3 years now and would like to show you around. I also work at a popular hostel around asakusa with a bar if you would like to stop by.

I have a an odd work schedule and can only host when I am home. Other wise I am ok with showing you around Tokyo .

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want to meet more people and get to know more about the world. Also have had good experiences on couch surfing before coming to Japan. Through couch surfing I have made new friends and had unique experiences during traveling and like to continue having such experiences.

Music, Movies, and Books

Handsdown My favorite youtube is Ask a mortician
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_yZjAzDcAmc
From a young age I have feared dying and often when I come across a decision I ask myself "Would I regret this if I die tomorrow". Anyway this youtube channel. supper recommend she normalizes death and makes it less scary. A natural part of life.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I went to Uyuni for my birthday
Appeared on Japanese television for 5 seconds to say "hello" in Spanish on Japanese television
Spend dia de los muertos in Mexico city
watch the sun rise in Tikal

In thailand we booked a fake listing and when we got to the address there was no hotel. wole looked for a considerable amount of time and ended up getting a deal on a much more expensive place. a month later we got the money back

Teach, Learn, Share

Although I am not the best representative of Latin America I like to break misconceptions about Latin America when talking with other couch surfers. Always open to help during trips to people practicing Spanish ect. Of course the reason to meeting would be to get to spend time together so language practice is a just a plus.

I am also kinda curious about how cementaries are over the world and how we as a people view life and death. Also I am interested in "unwritten" social rules. I don't really understand why people think they need to get married before a certain age but I am interested in knowing that those kinda pressures exist.
