my goal is to visit each of the 7 continents of the world within the next 2 years.

ABOUT ME

i have been travelling for nearly 3 years, and have covered most of north america, japan and australia. i am currently travelling with another female canadian, who i had met while in australia. i hope to have either lived in or visited all 7 continents of the world be the time i turn 30. i am a friendly and easy going person, with a sarcastic sense of humor. though occasionally shy, i love meeting new people and learning through new experiences.

PHILOSOPHY

i have two phrases that summarize my philosophy for my life: if it doesnt make you happy, its not worth it; and try to avoid real life as long as you can. with these in mind i have been living the most amazing life of travel and friendships and spontanaiety. i truly feel blessed and am incredibly thankful for my life.

as i am currently travelling, i hope to take advantage of the hospitality and goodwill of others to make my travel goals a success. of course, it is my hope that one day i will be able to reciprocate and provide a place to stay for others who find themselves caught up in the gypsy lifestyle.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

often through out my travels i have stayed with the family or friends of friends, people whom i have never met but have still opened their homes to me. through these visits, my hosts have offered me the opportunity to experience and learn about the local culture, to sightsee and explore their homelands. the generosity of these strangers turned friends has been one of the most touching experiences of my life.
