About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Live life to the fullest and travel the world!

ABOUT ME

I'm a lover of music and am currently a choral director living with my partner in downtown Dallas. I went to Texas Tech University and studied voice with Grammy award winner Karl Dent. I received my undergrad in Music Vocal Performance and Music Education witha minor in Italian! I love traveling and experiencing new cultures through couchsurfing/backpacking/music/food/etc. I'm very outgoing and am a thrill seeker, I like to try everything at least once and love being spontaneous.

PHILOSOPHY

Live each day differently and don't regret anything I do. I feel that we should all put effort into getting out of our little boxes and explore the world and meet people in different shoes.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I share my experiences that I have had using couchsurfing and explain to my friends how wonderful of an organization it is, and hopefully I do my part in making the couchsurfing community bigger and more culturally diverse.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Couch surfed a couple times when I traveled through Italy by myself, then when I backpacked through Europe with a friend a few years later. I have hosted couch surfers back in Lubbock and in Dallas. I love this organization and have had the chance to meet and connect with really cool and interesting people around the world.

Interests

Music (and I mean all types of music), Opera and everything about it, FOOOOOD- a great way to learn about a culture and people, traveling with friends, trying new things, trying something at least once!

Traveled alone through Europe. Doesn't seem like much, but having the option to do what ever you want whenever and meeting people from all around the world, it was an amazing experience for myself and I will never forget everything I saw and did. That's where I fell in love with my favorite city in the world, Florence!
