Warum ich bei Couchsurfing bin

The first thing I thought of when signing up was: oh great I get to travel for little money! But then I realised it was so much more then that. Via couchsurfing I have slept in places from about the same luxery as a hotel to places a little less bad than the streets. But I have also come to make so many new friends and meet interesting people. We share this world with so many different people that each have their own perspective and learning about these perspectives makes the given topic so much more interesting. Meeting these people has made me richer than I ever thought I would be and I would never want to trade this experience for the amount of money I could pay for luxorious hotels.

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

Studying the topic that I am passionate about, going on exchange to Kraków, Poland for 5 months, studying in the USA for a week. Being there for my friends and in return seeing them being there for me. I love seeing the good in the world but also impersonating that good that I want to see.
